Let's read Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, by Mo Willems, a Caldecott Honor Book.


Follow Mo Willems' directions below on how to draw the pigeon. Now draw your own pigeon, and re-illustrate the last page of the story. How do you think the story should end? What kind of trouble will your pigeon get in next? Make sure to add something to your scene, so your pigeon can start his next adventure. Use ABCya's Paint to create.

Kindergarten Mouse Skills

Today our job is to practice using the mouse. Remember, we will use the left mouse button today. Keep the mouse on the table, keep the buttons to the top of the mouse, and simply slide the mouse up, down, and side to side.

     


     

Google Accounts & Personal Narratives

First, we will review what qualities make up a good Personal Narrative. Next, we will plan out our own Personal Narrative with our pre-writing activity from Time For Kids. Then, we will create our first Google Doc and begin typing our Personal Narrative.

Today we are going to get to know our computer keyboard. We will learn about typing lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and numbers. We will learn keys that are called Shift, Caps Lock, Space Bar, Backspace, & Enter.
