Google Maps Art Project - Learning from Afar With Digital Tools

How can digital tools help us learn about a place we cannot visit? Today we are going to compare and contrast learning about artwork by using text based websites and Google Street View. Which site helped you learn the most about the art museum we visited today?
  1. How do I use Google Street View?
  2. How did Google capture the photos?
  3. How are the photos turned into Street View?
Now, let's explore the Art Institute of Chicago. First we will read about the Art Institute of Chicago from some text. Next, we will explore the Museum on Google Street View. Can you describe differences and similarities from learning with text and learning with street view on your Venn Diagram?
