1. Go to BBC's The Little Animals Activity Center and click on Digby Mole's Word Games. We are going to play End Sounds first and Rhymes second. 2. Meet the Gang at Orson's Farm, part of Professor Garfield's Transport to Reading.
4. Choose a word from this Rhyming Word List and type in on Microsoft Word. Then walk around the lab and type in rhyming words on as many computers as you can. Type your name after your rhyming word so we know you thought of the rhyme.
Technology can be used to create. First, visit the Color in Motion site to find colors that represent your personality. Then head over to the Design Your Own Conversesite and create a shoe that represents you.
2. Read all about the special characteristics of your wild self on your printed page. Go to Microsoft Word, title your story "If I Went Wild", and write an exciting story about your wild self.
Professor Garfield has an incredible Toon Book Readerfor us to visit. Choose from 11 different audio books. Have the computer read the story to you. Next, share a computer with your partner. Open up Microsoft Word, take turns typing sentences, summarize your story, and print.
