It's time to challenge our classmates to some mulitplayer games on ArcademicSkillBuilders.com. Today's topics include: money, time, and addition. 

3rd Grade Parts of a Computer

Your goal: Use technology and work with everyone in your group and create the basic parts of a computer (monitor, CPU, mouse or touchpad, & keyboard). Additional computer parts are optional.

Your tools for the task: Kerpoof's Super Doodle, ABCya Paint, black and white printer, color printer, crayons, pencils, tape, glue sticks, and scissors.

Your grade: Grade your team on the four point scale when your project is done.

4th Grade TypingClub.com

We've practiced keyboarding before with Dance Mat Typing. Today, we will use another free keyboarding site, TypingClub.com. We will focus on the "home row" keys today.

Google Maps Art Project - Learning from Afar With Digital Tools

How can digital tools help us learn about a place we cannot visit? There are different digital tools. Whcih tools help you learn the most about the art museum we visited today?
  1. How do I use Google Street View?
  2. How did Google capture the photos?
  3. How are the photos turned into Street View? 
Now, let's explore the Art Institute of Chicago. First we will read about the Art Institute of Chicago from some text. Next, we will explore the Museum on Google Street View. Can you describe differences and similarities from learning with text and learning with street view on your Venn Diagram?
